Dri-Balance™ technology optimizes the transport of moisture from skin to the surface of the garment, 6-10 times faster than other wicking garments. Yet the genius of Dri-Balance™ fabrics is not that they transport moisture away from the body - other synthetics claim to do that, but that they use a proprietary two-layer technology, which includes a surface layer of pure combed cotton. Don't confuse Dri-Balance™ with cotton wicking products that are merely dipped in chemical applications - manufacturer's can use misleading -terminology. Dipped garments are not as efficient in moisture-wicking, and these topical applications lose even this limited effectiveness through repeated washings.
Dri-Balance™ incorporates multiple layer technology. Moisture on the skin is immediately transported from the body through the inner layer of fabric. Once the moisture reaches the outer cotton layer it is widely dispersed for maximum air contact. Evaporation is quick and efficient. Dri-Balance™ also allows air to pass back through to the skin, keeping it cool and dry.
